Hi, I’m Sabrina!

My paintings are a visual safari, inspired by my connection to Africa and the feeling of exploring somewhere unknown. More than just beautiful paintings, they invite you to feel, remember and explore, with hidden abstract animals waiting to be discovered.

Meet the Artist

Sabrina Richter lives and works in Frankfurt, Germany. Art has been part of Sabrina’s life since childhood, intertwined with her love for nature, animals and distant places. During six months as a wildlife ranger in Kruger National Park, she discovered the joy of sharing this connection with safari guests. In Munich, she developed her own artistic language and began selling her first works.

Her professional journey later took her to New York, where she experienced a new perspective on art and nature. The energy of the urban jungle shaped her just as much as the quiet oases of Elizabeth Street Garden or the Hudson River. After several years working in the tech industry, Sabrina returned to Germany and made the decision to leave her secure corporate career behind to dedicate herself fully to her art.

01 · South Africa

This is where the visual safari was born. I worked as a wildlife ranger in Kruger National Park, founded my own non-profit and built a deep connection to this land. Safaris are still my favourite place to be and the source of every Visual Safari I paint.

In 2020 I started painting again after a long break and began selling my work. Munich is where the brush came back into my hand and where my first collectors found my paintings.

Living in New York, the city of art, I found my style in the urban jungle. Galleries, street art, the Hudson River and the quiet green corners of Manhattan shaped how I layer colour and hide my animals today.

“I want my paintings to do more than just look beautiful. I want them to make you feel, remember and explore.”
