Most animals do not attack out of cruelty. They attack because they are surprised, because they feel threatened, because they believe you mean harm. Hunter and hunted. A concept as old as life itself, and one we have quietly forgotten in our disconnected modern world. Look at her. A bear sitting in the clearing. Peaceful. Unbearably cute. Approach with respect. She will remain peaceful, as long as she does not feel afraid.

I have painted since childhood. After years in tech sales, I came back to what was always there. Today I paint abstract worlds inspired by nature, travel and the places that stay with us. Look closely and you might find someone looking back.

Where the safari began
In the South African bush, a leopard can lie right in front of you and stay invisible until you slow down and really look. That moment of discovery is what I paint. Every Visual Safari hides something waiting to be found.
